GULP

The first half of the day was bright and sunny but cold with a biting wind, clouds have taken over the second half with snow squalls moving in. We could get 3-4” by this evening • It was bitter cold by the river this morning but I was pleased to find a group of female and male mergansers feeding in the middle of the river. I followed and watched them for a while diving for fish and luckily got a shot of the only one in the group that caught one!! Once she straightened the fish out it slid right down her throat! I wish I had the longer lens with me but you get the idea :) • Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
