2024 Sunday — Winter Morning
We drove to church this morning in heavy mist. The windshield was covered with teeny-tiny droplets from our place in Cayucos to the parking lot of Morro Bay Presbyterian Church.
The blanket of clouds helped to keep the temperature warmer than we had experienced the past several mornings.
By way of live-streaming we had already tuned into the Sunday celebration at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills. If we miss it in the morning we watch it in the evening.
We made a quick stop at the Sunshine Health Food Store in downtown Morro Bay to get a loaf of bread that is low sodium and I also purchased a jar of diced tomatoes with “no salt” to make spaghetti sauce this coming week.
This photo is what we were seeing as we drove north on our return to Cayucos. Later in the day fog rolled-in from the north coast and we stayed surrounded by the impossible to see thru fog for the rest of the day.
I spent this wintry afternoon writing with lovely instrumental music filling our habitat and I was enjoying spiced cider compliments of Trader Joe’s.
We barbecued a ribeye steak, baked a potato, and had a butter lettuce salad for our evening meal.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
