Mild and Breezy

A more restful day was needed today. Still, Merlin and I enjoyed a couple of walks in the mild air. Goldfinches were feeding off thistles in the field and a kestrel sat on a perch, its distinctive silhouette made it easy to identify. I imagine the birds and other animals are benefiting from needing less energy to keep warm.

This is my view as I perch warm and well fed on the sofa this evening. Storm Isha is blowing outside.

Grateful today:
- For porridge and blueberries to fuel my morning walk.
- For time to rest.
- To be able to choose how to spend my day.
