Those low to the ground survived
An Ivy Leaved Cyclamen or Alpine Violet - at least that what the Picture This plant app reckons it is. Growing bravely in our grass complete with water drops.
Little impact from Isha in our garden. She huffed and puffed and blew a pane of perspex out of the greenhouse, popped a fence panel out one side and loosened another panel post. I hope you all escaped and serious repercussions. Now there’s another storm, Jocelyn, about to batter the western side of the country tomorrow.
Down at the allotment a few compost bins were skittled over and some weed suppressant mats blown about the place, otherwise unscathed. I’ve now run out of mulch and cardboard with 11/2 beds still to do. Shifted 2 1/2 tonnes of mulch from the gate to me plot.
