That sentiment gets warped a bit when it comes to gifts such as Scooty, with its numerous mechanical failures that must now come out of pocket before we can donate its sale to SAEP, and the 1990 Ford Sapphire a former volunteer donated to the organization last year, which has since cost $4000 in repairs, or more than the price of a legitimate used car here (imagine the U.S. late-80s Ford Taurus except tank-sized, with no power steering, and 1960s quality control). Besides hoping no one from work reads this since scooters don't belong inside the other, brand new car, let's hold thumbs that all she needs is a carb-cleaning.
