A bit nippy
I had planned to go out to Attingham Park near Shrewsbury to see the snowdrops but the forecast was for a very cold day, with the original destination a few more degrees colder.
So we just had a lovely wander around the Wolseley Centre, headquarters of the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust.
Delicious hot chocolate, friendly people, fabulous snowdrops, noisy mallards and, inevitably, adorable robins. I couldn’t resist the extra.
I was amazed to see several plants, in sheltered spots, heralding the approach of spring.
