Curry and Curtains

Curry in the making! Andy spent several hours preparing it early in the afternoon so that the flavour had time to develop before we ate it this evening. It was delicious.

We had a gentle dog walk around the village this morning, stopping at the allotment to think about what we could make with the shed panels we were given. Our currently preferred option is to create some raised beds to go at the back of the new plot. We should be able to make three good sized beds.

This evening we’ve had a curtain malfunction in our living room. It may (seems to) have involved a dog who likes to play in the curtains. I wasn’t present at the time but I suspect there was some post-dinner boisterousness going on. Any how, Andy now has the drill out and is attempting to fix the curtain rail back to the wall. Merlin meanwhile is asleep. It was his sixth birthday today so he’s had a few little treats - they’ve obviously gone to his head.

Grateful today:
- For sunshine.
- For delicious homemade curry for dinner which included fresh spinach from the allotment.
- To see some early cherry blossoms in flower.
