The Path

 A foggy start to the day.  While much of Cannock Chase is managed woodland, there are some small pockets where native trees have self set and managed to grab a foothold.  This small silver birch copse is adjacent to Camp Road and I hadn't even realised that a small track had been developed through the trees.  Fog is one of those conditions that allows us to make sense of what is a very busy scene.

Other than that we had a walk around the middle of the day and found the best of the weather with some sunshine coming through for brief periods.
