Eider Duck

What a difference a blue sky makes. It was still quite chilly but that it easily coped with when it was bright and sunny.

Coffee with friends in St Monans and then it was off for a run up the east coast ….. not too far though. On our return we nipped down to the harbour in Pittenweem. Plenty of gulls and Eiders swimming around the fishing boats.

High tide and the waves crashing over the harbour walls and rocks were quite spectacular. Friday’s waves looked nothing against the grey sky but with a backdrop of blue they were stunning.
