Sample Throw

We have had a lovely day today meeting up with friends in a local pub for lunch.  So pleased we were able to join them and that I was able a) walk in with shoes on and b) eat normally! Quite a turn up for the books given the past 4 -5 weeks!!
Here is a photo of the sashiko samples turned into a throw .. it isn't too big but works and a knee blanket for the colder days when the heating hasn't kicked in.. happy with that idea. I used an old single duvet cover for the edging and the back which means there is a row of floral embroidery on the back.. nice.. I like it !
Jasper is staying an extra night although I am concerned she doesn't seem to be eating much while here.. and today although it was lovely outside and the sun shone for most of the day she spent it mostly indoors sleeping.
