Flowers in the rain.

A very wet day. Although it cleared up a bit this afternoon.
A busy morning.
Post Office to send a card to France.
Farm shop for tea cakes etc. for tomorrow’s picnic.
Called at the Chiropodist to book an appointment. Booked for next Monday.
Home Bargains to buy a few bits and pieces including some more kindling as we have nearly run out.
Lastly the opticians to check that everything OK after my cataract op.
He was absolutely delighted that I could now see so much better. In fact he was amazed at the improvement. Out of my right eye I can now see the bottom line without glasses.
So hopefully will have the left one done in a few weeks.
No need to wear glasses any more for driving as my long distance sight has improved so much.
So very grateful to the NHS and SpaMedica.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow’s weather as we are out walking with the Pudseys.
Fortunately don’t have to drive far as the walk starts just three miles away.
