Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Another very unsettled night for the lad. We don't think it's his wee lump, or discomfort in his tee shirt - we think it's a phase of his wee turns. So, at about 2am, JR gave him one of his special pills. No effect. Because he'd spat it out. She tried again, in peanut butter, this time success - off to his bed and slept.

After two gym sessions (JR) we all set off for a walk across the Meadows, only because, although it was really cold, there was no wind. We stopped in at the cafe with jazz music that Archie quite likes, and we got the sunny little sofa seat in the corner.

We all walked back over the Meadows, but the others took a longer walk. 7,387 steps was enough for me. Besides, the Italy/France game was on. And what a good game it was. I was SO pleased that Italy held them off, and nearly won in the last minutes. Such a shame for them.

We've been watching 'Alice and Jack' hoping something would happen, and have come to the realisation that it was a complete waste of time...
