Lovely Luncheon

Such a fancy dining room and such a lovely lunch. There were eight of us who went to lunch at the Vancouver Golf Club and enjoyed the day. We had a great time with delicious food and wonderful conversation. We celebrated four birthdays, but mostly it was for Betty. She has a June birthday and then there were three of us who have July birthdays and we all celebrated. There was a pretty cake and peanut butter cupcakes. The cake, with lighted candles, was passed around and each of the four birthday " kids" blew out a candle.

The dining room in its elegancy, inspired me to take its picture. The view from its windows were of the expansive golf course and green. In spite of some rain drops it was a sunny and beautiful day.

If it were not for Betty and the fact that she is a long time member of this beautiful club, we would not have been there. Thanks were truly to birthday girl, Betty, for the lovely lunch.
