Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,

Happy 19th birthday YMP!

We headed up to Banchory today and ended up driving behind a van with no lights on. A few cars flashed to let the driver know but he hadn’t noticed which led to a debate about which have hand sign you’d use to alert someone.

I opted for closing and opening my fist repeatedly.

The Prince did some sort of weird twisting curled up hand movement.

Me: “What is that?”

TP: “It’s meant to be turning a key”

Me: “You don’t turn lights on with a key. It looks like you’re calling someone a w**ker.”

So as we passed the van, we went with my signal. Van man turned his lights on and thanked us with a thumbs up. The roads were safer and we didn’t inadvertently cause a road rage incident!

We went out for a lovely dinner with Albert and The Duke with the unexpected bonus that The Duke was on stand by so he offered to drive!

C
