A new place to walk

We were going to walk along Channelside but the car park was full. So we carried on towards the small carpark by the bridge. But the traffic was so busy we couldn't turn right so carried on over the bridge to Walney. 
The plan was to just turn round by the small park but we decided to stoll round there before going along the prom. 
So close to home but we'd never walked there before. It turns out that the path carries on beyond the park and we followed it. The sun came out and it was very pleasant. Makes a change to our usual ' local walks'
