Winter Gardens Harrogate
Clickychick's conference didn't start until early afternoon, so after a leisurely start we caught the bus into Harrogate (oh the joys of the Senior citizens' card). We had a wander round looking at shops particularly Jewellers, after so many years in the trade it is hard to get CC past without her wanting to examine the window and spot the firms we dealt with.
The next stop was Betty's Tearooms for a coffee and "Fat Rascal" (Their name for their own style scone). For lunch we headed to the Winter Gardens. This is now a Wetherspoons but the grandeur of the place makes it worth a visit. As with most Wetherspoons the food was predictable but very satisfactory given the prices.
For the blip I have chosen a staircase in Wetherspoons and the Convention centre for the extra.
