Istanbul day 3

Day 2 exploring Istanbul. 
We headed straight for the Topkapi Palace hurried along by a barking dog that took a dislike to us.  An assertive  word from Mr PB soon put it in its place. The palace was huge. Spectacular mosaic tiles and lavish colours decorated the rooms emphasising the wealth and grandeur.  After several hours we left, tired and hungry and had a delicious lunch in a local restaurant.

An impromptu decision saw us on a Bosporus cruise.   Back on dry land we headed across the Galatea Bridge and up the steep hill to Taksim Square and back down along Istikal Street where we saw the street kids hanging onto the back of the cute tram. Dinner in a terrace restaurant.
