Bricks and bread

Clay modelling at our Wednesday Home Ed group, and while Bean played with his lump of lovely red clay, I was uninspired. Bear was happy to try and eat it, and play with a plastic knife, or nurse. And then I started making bricks, and felt like making a wall. And God said to inscribe "today" on my wall. After yesterday's evening drive when I chatted to God about today and what next and all that, I felt I needed a reminder to focus on Now. And then I wanted a basket to sit in front of my wall and God said, Pray. "Give us this day our daily bread." So I prayed. And I made bread out of clay, to remind me to pray.
