To the Trossachs
It's been a beautiful day today. I'd sort of half thought about going up Ben Chonzie this weekend, but I'm tired and it's very cold so I think something less taxing is on the cards. We kicked off the day with a walk up the Knock behind the hydro hotel which gave some stunning views, with also some fun looking mountain bike trails. It Hydro is obviously full of people who aren't really used to being out and about as the family infront of us got asked by about three people where the (very obvious) path went. When we stopped for a Colin they turned round to ask us if we needed to know where we going too...
Lunch was a pretty good bagel and buddha bowl from a small shop in town that we ate in the park. Then we had a wander along Lady Mary's walk by the river which was very pleasant, though I did regret carrying the bottle of wine in the my rucksack that we bought for neighbour W who is catsitting.
Evening was a pizza and ice cream from a local takeaway and some time chilling in the hot tub once it was warm. All in all not a bad day.
Blip is the view from the Knock.
