A visitor at the end of the road
I don’t think that this was there when I went out to needles and natter at the wool shop this morning.
A good session where I did some hand sewing and got advice on my knitting. I started making a pair of socks ages ago and stopped in the middle of turning the heel. One of the ladies had given me the pattern that I’m using, so I knew that she would know if or where I was going wrong.
I hurried home when we had finished, as there was a delivery of more heavy duty pots by 9am. The sun was shining and I wanted to plant up the second batch of seed potatoes and the rest of the onion sets. I spent about 3 hours working in the garden and was wiped out when done.
It was when I got home that I saw this monstrosity. It made easy work of lifting the rafters onto the end house, then moved on to the next job.
