Sirmione Triathlon

Success Mish! Walked to your hotel today and it looks lovely. Walked around the grounds and found people having their breakfast on the terrace. Reception is very modern and I got a brochure for you.

Walked on to the Grotto di Catullo which is not far away and spent some time walking around the ruins. Fantastic views all round.

Had lunch at a small bistro and then walked back to our hotel.

Crowds of people in Sirmione today as there was a triathlon starting with a swim around the town, then a cycle ride to Colombare where we are staying so we went to watch the transition stage from cycling to running. Quite a big event with over 800 taking part. We watched it from the marina and the finish is back in the town with a concert playing later tonight. Another challenge for you Cas!
