Masterfully done

It's been a full day today! An early start getting Nate to school, then focussing on my essay that's due next week. This afternoon we gathered round the laptop to watch Danny graduate from his Masters! The ceremony was in Chester Cathedral - absolutely beautiful! We tied a few shots of him as the camera panned around, and then obviously the moment!
Later Claire came by unexpectedly which was so lovely - she'd brought a bag full of wine and snacks! And about 9 Mitch texted asking if he could pop round too! So a late but lovely night. Asha enjoyed playing Batalla de Genios with him, and Claire enjoyed catching up with him. I'd promised Asha she and I could watch last week's Death In Paradise after Nate had fallen asleep, but because of the unplanned social evening, we didn't start watching til gone 11. She was pleased we still did it though. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) All Danny's hard work on the Masters over the years. He has very much earned this certificate!
2) Time to focus on the essay.
3) Getting a difficult conversation done.
