At last

We have been waiting for the rain to stop and for time to ourselves to work in the garden. The area where B is standing normally houses plants in pots. During the winter they stand on  little wooden blocks, but have saucers in the summer to keep them adequately watered. 

I’m impatient to get the patio cleaned and the saucers in place. It’s one of those cascade jobs, until I get this job done I cannot move on to other areas in the garden. 

We woke to blue skies and ok temps, so B moved the pots to the other side of the patio and started to hose it down. It was filthy!! He fixed fittings on the garage wall for a couple of hanging baskets, then we collected the big saucers from the bins behind the garage. As we laid them on the patio table to clean them it started to rain. 

Good job we started early as this was the end of the outdoor activities for the day. I did a bit in the potting shed before having a nap.
