Canal walk, with pastries

A nice morning tempted us out for a walk after JR's gym. She's got a sore arm, and so is going easy on the weights and other stuff, so she's adding in a wee run on the treadmill at the local gym. She’s keen!

We walked down to the canal a) NO mud b) no wind c) several possible coffee stops. I love the canal when there isn't a ripple. A couple of people were painting over great swathes of the graffiti already there. It's not very good, to be sure, so maybe they'll do something better...

We stopped for a couple of pastel de natas in a wee cafe we haven't been to a while. Nice quiet, comfy place, Very nice pastries, coffee not so good, so won't be back till we forget that.

Had another wee go with 'The Bear'... nope. Also watched the first five minutes of 'Poor Things' - just tooooo whacky for us.

Archie’s wound is now healing nicely, and he doesn’t mind it being cleaned and touched. Hoping for some good news re his tests tomorrow.
