Taking the rough with the smooth

After dropping the boys off at school this morning I nipped along to the post office on Barnwood Road, Gloucester. The Highways dept. have been resurfacing Barnwood Road and Hucclecote Road, a distance of about 2 miles. It has been needed doing for a while now, potholes and rough surface areas where various utilities have dug it up and filled in but not quite getting it right!
They have taken off the surface in sections and then resurfacing, during the night-time, beautifully. It's taking some time but they are doing a really good job of it.
Now I'm going to see how long it takes one of the utilities to dig it up again!
