The Fascination of Books

When in Adelaide, cultural tourism is the go! Fascinating tour at the Art Gallery (our poor volunteer guide had prepared a special focus on indigenous art for a PhD student who never turned up), a visit to the State Library to request a viewing of The Temple of Flora (inspired by yesterday’s botanic exhibition), plus all  the gastronomic glory of Central Market. While in the library we had a good look at the magnificent Mortlock Wing, although I think the architecture rather than the collection was the more noteworthy.
