A Special Gift……..

……. From Bryan the Birman. Bryan is a character of a cat. He is very mischievous and playful. Most days he brings me a gift. the gifts are sometimes left on the carpet or, very unhygienically, placed on the dining room table. They are leaves, usually dry ones with visible tiny teeth marks on them. His favourite ones are camellia leaves. Today’s offering,shown here, is a large Magnolia leaf. I consider myself the lucky recipient of his love…. Leaves are so much more acceptable than, say, dead mice.
