The Lake Today…

A very very early start today. I was out the door and walking well before 6.am. Pushing myself and walking fast. Quite a lot of other walkers and runners, most wearing head lights. The Wither Hills Farm Park continues to be closed because of fire risk thus many regular Park users are having to use the Taylor River paths and tracks. Later, on my way home from town I visited the Taylor Dam. A breeze was ruffling the surface of the lake and the dry hills of Meadowbank Station with a shelter belt of pines running up to a ridge can be seen in the distance.
