Snow Bank
Surprise! Snow fell overnight and through the day. Forecast for 6", but it had already begun to compact by the time I went out.
I liked the shapes made by the snow on rocks along the bank of the inlet. In other places there were snow pillows piled up which was interesting.
I utilised the distorting effect of my 18-55mm lens at its widest, by tilting the camera down, to exaggerate the foreground. I tried getting lower in other shots, but that was jolly cold on my knee.
Extra: Cautious. Very pleased to see the return of wood ducks, but didn't want to go closer.
