The wall around Orvieto

Spring is starting to bloom in Orvieto, a little over an hour by train from Rome. Walking along the pathway around the walled city you get a feel for the countryside in the area. The city on the rock is pretty well filled in. The streets are narrow and people are slowed down. It’s a great vibe. And there’s some amazing artwork to discover in the old buildings, especially the Duomo that was started in 1290.
