Birthday on the beach

Up bright and early so I could walk the dogs before family arrived.
We walked down to the beach. Ross (stepson) and Rachel and grandkids Chloe and Hudson.

Shell collecting and sea glass. Chloe only let me keep about four of the pieces of glass, she took the rest home!
We had a beach hut for the day, and despite it still being the end of March, it was amazing weather.

Back to ours for more family time and food, we’ve all had a wonderful day.
We are meeting them tomorrow in Redcar before they head over to the Lakes to stay with Rachel’s dad for a couple of days.

FaceTime call with son Greg too, and lots and lots of WhatsApp messages from other family and friends, may not get round to answering them all tonight though.

A pretty good way to spend my 60th birthday.
