Tra Nor'dzin yn mynd i'r encil, roedd Samten a fi yn gweithio ar un o'r storfa bren. Roedd y strwythur wedi cael ei adeiladu yn gynharach, ond roedd dal angen to. Felly dyna ein gwaith am y dydd, neu am yr wythnos. Mae'n dibynnu a'r tywydd ac am ein hegni.


Roedd rhaid i ni roi plociau pren rhwng y trawstiau i wneud y strwythur yn ddigon cryf i gario pwys y to metel. Roedd y tywydd yn oer ac yn wlyb iawn, ac roedd y gwaith yn drwm - ond gwnaethon ni dyfalbarhau, beth bynnag. Roedden ni eithaf llwyddiannus yn ein gwaith ac rydyn ni'n barod i drio'r to.


Mae ychydig o broblemau gyda ni, oherwydd bod maint y ‘base’ yn rhy fawr i'r to. Bydd Samten yn rhoi rhai o feddwl i'r broblem cyn i ni drio'r to eto yfory.

While Nor'dzin went into retreat, Samten and I were working on one of the wood stores. The structure had been built earlier, but still needed a roof. So that's our work for the day, or for the week. It depends on the weather and our energy. 

We had to put ‘noggings’ between the beams to make the structure strong enough to carry the weight of the metal roof. The weather was very cold and wet, and the work was heavy - but we persevered regardless. We were quite successful in our work and we are ready to try the roof. 

We have a few problems, because the size of the 'base' is too big for the roof. Samen will give the problem some thought before we try the roof again tomorrow.
