Easter colours

Misty start to the day and judging by the browning of the flowers on the second camellia tree, an overnight frost.  After V made a breakfast of pancakes for Rory, he and I managed to get out for a walk in the woods before going over to Hambledon to pick up Mum and take her to brother Jono and family for Easter lunch.  Gorgeous meal of lamb and a rhubarb pavlova.   Brought Mum home and then Rory and I did some work in the garden.  He did some very useful carting around of packs of compost and gravel. 

V cooked (yes more food!) a pasta bake for dinner from a recipe in the New York Times which was devilishly moreish and delicious. 

We watched an episode of The Gentleman….very silly but quite fun. I can see why everyone is talking about it with a roll of the eyes and a giggle.
