The code breaker trail at Ham House

Can you guess the first letter of the word? ( This was the easiest one ) There were 10 stations and each had clues for a letter so that eventually we formed a 10 letter word so that they could collect an Easter Egg.  We went with our children and grandchildren and it was a good trail enjoyed by all, plus nice and warm and sunny.
See extra for more information….  Several of the stations had activities such as throwing rings, throwing balls  and croquet so good for ages 3-10. We were also able to sit outside in the garden area by the cafe for coffee as it was sunny.

Back at home we had a lovely roast beef lunch, cooked by my husband and then did an Easter egg hunt in the house . This year I counted how many of the little eggs I had put out ( 20 in each of three rooms, and they did find them all. In previous years we have sometimes found the odd one in July or August .

Very quiet now that they have all gone home and weather looking greyer…again!
