Weeping Cherry

There is no bright blue sky behind my cherry blossoms today. We have had a non-stop mist in the air. The actual rainfall is due to begin this evening. I went out early to get my photo just in case. You can see the entire tree in my extra. Hubby and I had our semi-annual dental appointment this morning. No issues for either of us. We stopped at the Amish nursery to get the rest of Kristen’s birthday gift: eight romaine lettuce plants and a gift certificate so she can get other flower/vegetable plants after it warms up a bit. We dropped them off on the way home. It was lunch time when we got back. I was happy Renee provided cold salads. With fluoride treatments, you have to wait two hours before eating/drinking anything warm. Parker’s lacrosse game is at 5:00 today. It will take about an hour to get to the opponents’ school. The game time was moved up an hour in hopes of getting it in before the storm arrives. We plan to be better prepared for wet weather just in case. We’ll come home to dry out and warm up rather than go out to dinner. There’s just too much crime around the restaurants in that area. Such a shame. I hope you are comfortable going out and about where you live. Stay safe. Thanks for visiting. I will try to stay caught up with your blips. “Cherry blossoms paint the world in hues of delicate pink, inviting us to celebrate the ephemeral nature of life.” – Unknown
