Canal Walk: Day 3
We've made it to the end of Day 3, past the Falkirk Wheel (as per the snap), and up onto the Union Canal ... no more locks, as we're now on a 'contour canal' all the way to the Lochrin Basin in Edinburgh!
The weather today has been very fine and we've thoroughly enjoyed strolling along for some 11-miles. We're now staying at some camping-pods, just outside Falkirk ... we're a short way off the canal, and will rejoin it again first thing tomorrow.
Our stops today have been near Auchincloch for a mid-morning cup of tea and a biscuit; then Bonnybridge for a most enjoyable lunch in the sunshine :-)
Relaxing now in our 'pod' before heading off in the morning towards Linlithgow, which will be our stop for tomorrow night ...
... has been good to see our fundraising ticking-up as we walk - still 3-days of walking left! - so finally; just the usual brief reminder that we are primarily undertaking the expedition to raise money for EUCS - if you want to/can help, our JustGiving page is here:

Thanks very much :-)
