Dark-eyed ...

... Junco.

After three days of solid rain we finally got a break in the weather.  Although there were still some scattered showers we also saw some blue skies!  Yay!

That said ... I enjoyed some time actually outside with the birds and the occasional squirrel.  As a self professed bird nerd was thrilled when this sweet dark-eyed junco landed where she did.  It won't be long now before they will be moving to their summer nesting areas up north.  But hopefully by then the gray catbirds will be arriving into our area!  And then the beautiful hummingbirds! Please have a look full screen.

Bring on the Summer birds!!!
