Today’s exploration took us along the Avon River towards the city, then Gloucester Street to visit the pop up Canterbury Museum. 

The Rolleston Ave buildings are undergoing major redevelopment and this space is a temporary measure.

The main photo is the gold plated bike owned and raced by Ivan Mauger. He won his third consecutive individual World Speedway Championship riding this machine.

An exhibition by Robin Slow, Brian Flintoff and Bob Bickerton is also featured. Their work is quite amazing. The First extra shows several pieces of art, but the carving and instrumental music was just as impressive.

The Second extra shows four golden scenes of autumn in Christchurch, NZ.
