For the family

All go

Early start to collect Olive and Amber from kennels and drop Olive off at home. They were delighted to see us.

We had to leave home at 12.15 to meet up with a group from U3A on a visit to JCB visitors centre which is on the outskirts of Uttoxeter.

It was fascinating. The history of JCB in the theatre, an extensive museum of ‘stuff’ that they have manufactured over the years, before walking round the extensive shop floor to see how things are assembled. All very new to me.

There was a very large framed quilt on a wall made from the company tie fabrics. I should have taken a picture, but didn’t think that photography was allowed at that stage so the phone was at the bottom of the bag. I’ll see if I can get S on the case to get one and the story behind it.

It was a long time to be walking and concentrating, but well worth it.
