Downpour!

When i rains in Mexico it is like a flood.....but only lasts 5-8 minutes, stops then about an hour later, it does it again!   So we used the morning to hang out and relax in our Casa, it's been a busy 3-4 days and it was finally catching up with me!   then off into town for lunch and then shopping for a new cell phone for me and a sim card for Terry.....our cell phone coverage from home isn't any good down here and we want to be able to contact each other if we spend time apart.   So that was an interesting transaction....neither of us speak Spanish and a lot of the people in retail etc speak a little, but we managed!  Terry got a haircut.

In the evening we headed out for dinner and we ended up in the place that a friend of ours from Baddeck was playing at.   We knew Michele was down here, it was sort of on her recommendation that we started check out this place.   anyway, as we were walking past this bar i heard a voice singing and i knew it was Michele.  She had no idea we were down here (she's been here 4 months) so the look on her face when we walked in was priceless!!!  Dinner was great and we had a lovely time listening to her set.   So cool to just come upon her!  I was planning to try and contact her but this way was so much more fun!!!
