Reddish egret

We went to the South Padre Birding Institute today , great boardwalks through the marsh and even though it was afternoon the birds were great. This was one of the first we saw . 
In extras however is another lifer for me that I never thought I would ever see because they are pretty secretive- a sora. Ten minutes later and we wouldn't have seen it. We also saw a marbled godwit though at quite a distance. And lots more, which was great!
