Beverley Folk Festival

The Proclaimers were playing there this evening but, of course, that wasn't my only reason for travelling the width of the country to attend this festival...there was some great veggie food on offer too.

One of the support acts for the Proclaimers was a great singer called Edwina Hayes. I'd never heard of her before but she has the voice of an angel and I've been playing the two cds I bought non stop.

So I worked this morning, drove miles to the festival (stuck in a motorway queue for almost two hours), enjoyed food, drink and music....got home about 3am....shattered; getting too old for this!
