Mylor & Restronguet
I’ve been looking to do one of the “I-Walk Cornwall” circuit walks for a while and with Josh home it gave the ‘nudge’ I needed. After a leisurely breakfast we set off by car for Mylor, Josh, Paddy and I, Sam could not be persuaded.
We parked, turned on the app, and set off, the app sends alerts at places of interest and way points as well as tracking time, speed and distance, if only the app had been available for officers!!
Plenty to see, beautiful sunny day, dry and accompanied by my son what’s not to enjoy. Paddy had the time of his life, off the lead for virtually all of the walk and probably did twice the distance.
There is plenty to see and view, in this day and age the Ukraine Memorial shows little has changed.
We finished and headed to Mylor Cafe for a coffee where I met a friend, Kerrie, working in the cafe, good to see her. A quick check on a CWGC headstone which had some remedial work done to it before heading home.
Thoroughly enjoyed an evening out with Joshua although as the night wore on I had the growing realisation that my days of eight pints and an Indian Curry are diminishing.
