Brambling...
in the main blip and dunnock in the extra, both seen for the first time this winter (if you can say so at this time) at the feeding. A lot of action at the feeder, but that's no wonder with snow and frost at this time. Glimpses of the action in the second extra. Siskins have taken over, but many others are trying to get their share. Very few tits and tree sparrows around though.
The day began with the AFCC meeting in Tampere. As the representative of club hosting the exhibition, it was my job to act as the chairman of the meeting. I was told that the record (shortest) time it has taken was 16 minutes and it might be possible to try to break that. Well, now it's 15 minutes!
After the meeting we checked out from the hotel and went grocery shopping. The exhibition is now open from noon to 6 pm daily and we have someone there during the opening hours. The secretary of the club took the first shift and we visited on the way home.
In the afternoon I got a call from a neighbour that help is needed at a nearby summer cottage. The famous campervan of a famous TV personality (whose name I'm not revealing) was stuck! I went there to pull it out of the muddy parking. She turned out to be a really nice person BTW.
