No room in the Pyramid Arena....

The Stones at Glastonbury....everyone wants to see them yes? Well actually no. I didnt want to see them and nor did the kids. Instead we went to The Other Stage and saw Two Door Cinema Club who were excellent. They were followed by Example . He was well aware that people were leaving to see the STones and put everything into his performance. The 4 of us were going crazy. The girls in front , too scared to look behind and see their parents dancing. It was definately one of the highlights of the festival for me.
We did try and pop into the arena to catch some of the STones afterwards. It was so full they had stopped letting people in. We saw a few minutes of it from way back and decided we would have more fun in the Shabgrila area and Block 9. SO many people at the stones that the rest of the festival was quiet. There wasn't even a queue to get in the silent disco. ( A disco where everyone wears headphones and half are tuned to one song, half to another. If you are watching from outside the room is quiet as all music is played through the headphones. Awesome. Always wanted to do that.
