Medieval mayhem
Travelling down to Oxfordshire to check on the bungalow this afternoon I made a detour to the Church of St Mary, Fairford, Gloucestershire. St Mary's is famous for its complete set of 28 medieval stained glass windows dating from around 1500. It is an extraordinary place and well worth a visit for anyone with an interest in stained glass. My blip is a detail from the Last Judgement scene in the Great West Window. Frustratingly my camera battery ran out of power part way through my visit. I may have to return on my way home tomorrow.
