A Bird But Not A Robin

although the Robin taunted me tirelessly while the camera was not set up...he somehow knew when to hide....

so no Robin again, but here's a little House Sparrow.

and a few things I learned about this guy:
They are not actually sparrows but part of the Weaver Finch family.
They were introduced to Central Park, NY in 1850 and have since spread across the U.S.
