Pink and cream peonies.
I love the abundant beauty of peonies and the way they just keep on flowering. I spotted these in a nearby front garden.
From the tight buds to the fully open flower heads, they are a showy, impressive Summer flowering plant. I have seen them in red, pale pink and white, but I especially like these pink and cream centred ones.
I have enjoyed a nice day, taking photos in Rishton and then working a couple of hours pricing the weekly order at One Planet shop. We will have a stall at the Rishton Festival on Saturday, so that will be a good blip opportunity, weather permitting.
The forecast looks good.
Maria has been back to St. Mary's College this morning to present a cheque for over £300 to the MS society.
Maria and a small group of students had organised a cake sale and face painting session as part of their college Leadership course.
The weather has been very mixed here today, with strong wind and sunny spells. This is very unsettling for Arthur so he has been upstairs most of the day.
Have a great evening blippers!
