A Town Centre Dead End Dino

Spring so far has been a massive letdown and today was no exception being both cold and damp. I've been looking forward to going for runs on sparkling April early mornings but so far I could count those on less than the fingers of one hand. Today we were determined to get out anyway and actually undertook one of our longest runs for a while - which at just over a a mile and a half isn't exactly the Marathon des Sables! :-)
So after burning off all those calories of course we felt we deserved to go about replenishing them. So at lunchtime we headed back to The Five Pointed Star for a pint 'n' chips and a leisurely stroll around West Malling and, as it was still such a miserable day, we then took the short drive into Maidstone and returned to the French bistro we frequented a few days ago for coffee and a chocolate eclair served with ice cream. I think those calories may have been ever so slightly over replenished!
Today's image was taken in the centre of town and is a smaller cousin of a fellow dinosaur that stands outside one of the town's railway stations - this fella seems to prefer a more retail based environment. He seemed a little nonplussed by the dead end sign across the road as when I was there he didn't attempt to venture any further! :-)
