The Buttermere Pines

A lovely day for reflections until lunchtime when a slight breeze started to develop. First a small area of the lake began to crinkle and then within a few minutes all was dull and ripply and the reflections were gone until next time. 
We walked along Crummock water and over Rannerdale, where the bluebells are still looking lovely. They  are unusual in being out in an open valley rather than in a shady wood.
